Description

Two fun and simple ways to make a festive red, white, and blue fruit salad for your next 4th of July or Memorial Day gathering.

Ingredients

Scale

Watermelon Fruit Salad

  • 1 small watermelon
  • 1 package of blueberries
  • 1 package of pearl mozzarella cheese
  • 2 sprigs of mint

Strawberry Fruit Salad

  • 1 regular package of strawberries
  • 1 package blueberries
  • 1 package pearl mozzarella balls
  • 1 sprig of mint

Instructions

Watermelon Fruit Salad

  1. Slice watermelon in half. Use a watermelon baller to make balls and place into a large bowl. Do this for the entire watermelon.
  2. Wash the blueberries and add it to the large bowl. Break up the mozzarella pearls by hand and add to the large bowl. Add in diced mint. Mix well.
  3. Keep in fridge until ready to serve.

Strawberry Fruit Salad

  1. Wash strawberries and blueberries. Cut tops off strawberries. Diced the strawberries. Place in medium bowl.
  2. Add in blueberries and pearl mozzarella balls. I like to pinch the balls in halves to make it smaller then add them.
  3. Chop mint small and add to the bowl. Toss well and keep in fridge until ready to serve.
